What's the difference between a local Bali eSIM (Balitel) and a global travel eSIM (Holafly, Airalo, Saily)?
A travel eSIM gives you internet only. A local Bali eSIM gives you internet plus an Indonesian phone number.
The number lets you call, text, and get the sign-up codes for local apps like Grab and Gojek. Those codes come by text (SMS) to an Indonesian number. A travel eSIM has no number, so it cannot do this.
